Our volunteers share weather, traffic, and general news updates on our social media channels. At SEQUEST, we ensure the public stays informed with the latest details from a variety of sources. We provide daily emailed forecasts and marine conditions along the Southeast Coast and Moreton Bay, sourced from the Bureau of Meteorology Queensland office. We receive direct email notifications from the Bureau of Meteorology Queensland office regarding severe weather, fire weather, flood warnings, and road weather alerts. We distribute email alerts from the Queensland Police Service media unit concerning missing persons and critical information regarding disasters and emergencies. We also share alerts from the Queensland Fire Department media unit about significant disaster and emergency events. We also monitor social media and websites to share helpful information with our followers. Additionally, we advocate for and spotlight the importance of volunteering to our audience.
